Jay is an avid sailor, racer and rebuilder of antique wooden boats. Jay’s other interests include bike riding, skiing, backpacking and fly fishing. He resides in Glastonbury with his wife.

With more than 19 years in the real-estate industry, Jay specializes in creating strategic relationships between clients and property owners. His experience covers acquisitions, development and leasing of office, medical office, retail and industrial properties in New England and the upper Midwest, achieved while he served as director of acquisitions and development for the Simon Konover Development Corp. in West Hartford, Conn.

Jay has a deep understanding of the economics of property owners and how to match them with the needs of prospective tenants and buyers. He is the former owner of Development Services LLC and a vice president of development with Griffin Land and Nurseries in Windsor, Conn. Jay also serves as senior vice president of Accubranch, LLC, a provider of analytical services, site selection, brokerage, permitting and construction advice to the region’s community banking system.


Jay is a member of the Real Estate Finance Association and the International Council of Shopping Centers. He serves on ICSC’s Connecticut State Planning Committee.
