Rob Rowlson offers both public- and private-sector development experience dealing with a wide variety of difficult issues demanding practical solutions. He served as the chief development officer for the Town of West Hartford, Conn., as head of business development and later as director of community services. Rob reshaped the town’s business landscape into what has become a dynamic, regional center for shopping, dining and entertainment. The rebirth of this “inner-ring suburb” resulted in West Hartford being named one of the nation’s Top 10 communities in which to raise a family. The development of Blue Back Square was a significant milestone during this period. Rob is also a skilled discussion leader for local, regional and national audiences, with experience working with chambers, economic development commissions and local Business Improvement Districts (BIDs)


Rob serves on the board of directors of numerous for-profit and non-profit organizations.
