Our Beginning
Tom York and Mike Goman have known each other for 30 years. Prior to forming GOMAN+YORK in 2011, they worked together on multiple projects. The two found they shared many viewpoints, an unshakable set of values and business ethics, a pragmatic approach, and a bias toward getting things done.
After years of success, Tom decided to leave a national firm to combine his brokerage skills with Mike’s consulting practice. The partners started to provide a unique, blended service to owners, investors, municipalities, education and medical organizations interested in enhancing their real estate development opportunities. The market was ripe for this kind of model – one that treats the goals of land owners and municipalities equally, and offers a more collaborative approach to the project development process.
